Cove-Lit False Ceiling for Compact Living Rooms

About this idea

A lighter-touch false ceiling approach for homes where a full multi-level ceiling would feel heavy or cost too much. The cove lighting runs along the room's perimeter, washing the walls in warm light.

Why it works

• This false ceiling design for living rooms adds glow through perimeter lighting without lowering the ceiling much, keeping the room feeling open while still giving it a finished, designed look.
